End of the Day Treat- Une surprise pour la fin de journée

Toffee Bits Triangles

It's exams week and my two sons like to study with friends. We had a house full today. So I decided to prepare a treat for the end of the day. It was well received.

I started by looking in the pantry to see what I had available. I found a package of Toffee Bits and wanted to do something with it. I searched on the Hershey's Kitchen website and found this delicious recipe for Toffee Bits Triangles. I had to try it right away. This recipe makes a lot. You can even make it to bring at the office or at a potluck event.

The crust is made of butter, brown sugar, flour and some toffee bits. You only bake it for 20 min. and then spread over the crust some chocolate chips and the remaining of the Toffee Bits. I don't think they'll stay in the house long. This is recipe is definitively a repeater in my house.

Toffee Bits Triangles

Hahaha, all too often those study sessions develop into storytelling and silliness... Ah, memories! :) I'm sure these bars would be the perfect way to cap off their "studying!" (Kidding, I'm sure your boys are very diligent :)

I wish all of you would be my neighbors so I could share... only if you study hard.
