Caramilk Fudge

Caramilk Fudge Bars

I love this time of the year. I am planning for the visit of my two oldest kids at Christmas. We love spending quality time together. They already requested their favorite meals and desserts. Since they are both at university they don't spend much time in the kitchen. I am trying a new fudge recipe for them.

Tomorrow we have a cookie exchange at the Military Family Ressource Centre. Eighteen girls signed up. I had to make a double batch of this fudge. I love this new combination. I will be making it when the kids come home.

More desserts that we love during the Holidays:

orange christmas cookies

old-fashioned brown sugar fudge

snickerdoodle cookies

Macadamia Cookies

Caramilk Fudge:

In a microwave-safe bowl mix:

-2 cups brown sugar
-1 can Eagle Brand
-1/2 cup melted butter

Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Mix well. Microwave another 4 minutes on high.

Take bowl out of microwave and add:

-1 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Mix with a hand mixer on high for 2 minutes.

Line a 8x8 pan with parchment paper. Pour half the mix into the pan. Cover the mix with Caramilk bars. You will need approx 3-4 bars. On top of the chocolate bars pour the remaining half of the mix.

Place the pan in the fridge until the Caramilk Fudge is cold. Cut into squares.

Ce sucre à la crème est vraiment bon. A faire pendant la période des fêtes. Tous les invités vont aimer.
