Raspberry Almond Crumb Cake

Raspberry Almond Crumb Cake

The theme this month for our Cooking Light Virtual Supper Club is ''A Taste of Spring''. It surely taste like Spring today. We have a nice sun and the weather is warm in the Valley.

Last week I spent 5 days, in Vancouver, for the Olympics and we had such a great time. The weather was beyond expectations, sunny and warm during the day. It was so nice to see Canadians so proud of wearing red and white everywhere. Some journalists even said that they never saw that spirit at any other Games. I got tickets for one event, a hockey game between Russians and the Czechs. Granville Island was a French Quarter and we spent lot's of time there. We saw some singers from Québec and other shows. Was a great experience and I'm glad I got the chance to be at the Olympics in my own country.

For our Supper Club I baked a delicious Raspberry Almond Crumb Cake from Cooking Light. I had made this cake in the past and did use blueberries instead of raspberries. It was really good also.
