You should listen to your mother and eat your greens. Leafy
greens are superfoods and you can sneak them in smoothies. If you have a picky
eater it could be frustrating, at mealtimes, when they don’t eat their
vegetables. Smoothies are a fun way to
make sure they get their vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and calcium in one
drink.
Buy the best blender that you can afford. We use ours 2-3
times a day. Making smoothies at home will help you slim down and stay healthy.
I feel more energize when I have my daily green smoothie. Another benefit is
that I get far more vegetables, in my diet, than just eating them.
If you make a commitment to exercise and eat healthy, you
will feel better. It is a great way to get a psychological lift. My goal is to walk on the treadmill 3-5 times
a week this year. To motivate me I watch
a show on Netflix while on the treadmill.
Keeping a food diary and a workout journal helps me stay on track.
In the green smoothie recipe, which I am sharing with you, I
like to use Almond Breeze. You can always substitute with any kind of milk. In the freezer I always have bags of mixed
fruits. When shopping for yogurt I prefer to buy Greek yogurt for my smoothies,
because I like them thick. Y
