When entertaining I like to have different appetizers on the table that will please my guests. It is nice to have a dip that you can prepare in the morning and have it ready when guests arrive. That way you can sit down with them to relax and enjoy a glass of wine.
This Favourite Layered Dip is made with simple, fresh ingredients and is a crowd-pleaser. Also your vegetarian friends will appreciate that you are making an appetizer that they can enjoy. The base layer is a mix of cream cheese, sour cream and Miracle Whip. I replaced the sour cream with Greek yogurt and we actually like the tangy taste of it in this dip. You can top this dip with different vegetables but we do like tomatoes, green peppers, green onions and cilantro in my home.
I am sure that there will be many occasions for you to prepare appetizers during the year. If you are looking for more inspiration, why not try a new recipe like these delicious Jalapeno Poppers, guacamole, hummus dip with pita chips and Creamy Artichoke Dip.
